Hi Everybody
in the Alvin Lee Community !
Some of you might remember my message from
november 2006, asking if anybody could help me
with info. on a sunburst Strat with maple neck,
year 1958/60, that had belonged to Alvin and
that I had just bought from a shop in London.
Unfourtunately nobody could give me any info on
the Strat. I was happy to know it had been
Alvins ( BIG fan as I am ), but I desperately
wanted to know more about it. Had he had it for
6 month or Ten Years, had he recorded with it
ect........
The shop also promised to help, but after 5
months still no trace.
Then, far away in cyberspace, I found the
excellent German fansite alvinlee.de and deep
down in all the info on Alvin, I found what I
was looking for !! And I must say it was a
pleasent surprise ! If you want to read about

At the same time as I found the link, the shop
managed to get Alvin to write me a personel
letter confirming the data in the article, and
that it had appeared on several recordings eg
Real life blues.
So now I´m a super happy Alvin fan and I would
like to thank Alvin for the personal letter and
also thank the creators of alvinlee.de
